
Setu Taifane Funeral Expenses

Tragically, Setu Taifane passed away on April 17, 2017 while working for the Pacific Flight Detachment in Honolulu. He is survived by his wife, Amata, 3 daughters and 1 son. His family resides in American Samoa and that is where he will be laid to rest. All money raised will be given to Amata to help her pay for the cost of taking Tai home and all other costs that will be incurred from their tragic loss.
Setu served as a High Talking Chief in Alataua District, Poloa Village. He was a Deacon at the Good Samaritan Worship Center in Waipahu, Hawaii. He was also a retired veteran of the United States Army and served many years as a civilian employee for the US government.
Services will be held in Hawaii at the Good Samaritan Worship Center at 94-076 Leokane Street, Waipahu, Hawaii on April 30, 2017. The time will be announced once the plans are finalized. Services in American Samoa will be announced later.
