Hi, my name is Lisa.

I am 25, for the last 2yrs I've had some damage to my nervous system affecting my lower legs and ankles..

3 months ago I went into hospital because I could no longer even hobble about..

I've lost my ability to walk. And everything that goes with it..

This is likely long term..

Being solely reliant on DSP centrelink payments does not even nearly cover my need to purchase a wheelchair..

I have been stuck in my bed, isolated and surrounded by a mess I am mostly helpless to clean,, for 3 months now..

I'm not exactly coping..

My previous favourite activities included, bushwalking, dancing, Skipping, driving, swimming canoeing and taking my young daughter out fun places..

I'm not quite sure what I can and can't do anymore. And I will not be able to figgure that out unless I can buy a wheelchair (a usable wheelchair) I've found so far anything under $1500 is not designed for regular out door use..

The chair I'm looking to buy is a nice wheelchair in the right price range, originally $3940, it is currently on special for $2364..

It's just a bonus that it's Pink

..

If anyone can help I would be eternally grateful, and make an effort to pass it on, once I can get outside again..

My goal amount is set to $4000 to help cover costs for a cleaner as well..

Yet any amount towards this is more than helpful..
