Seth's Fight for Life! Rare brain tumour 2 in 25 years.

My name is Scott and I am Seth's Stepfather. Seth lives at home with his mother Kylie and I and his special needs brother Valentino, Seth also has an older brother Haydn. Seth has always been a fighter and a hard worker who puts everyones needs before his own. Now it is time for us to put Seths needs first. On Friday the 10th May, Seth was daigniosed with a Meningioma Tumour. This Tumour has been there undetected for several years and and is now the size from the base of his skull to his frontal lobe. He is going into a 34 hour, 2 stage surgery on Friday the 24th of May. We have been told there is a high chance he may not make it through the surgery, he could have a catastrophic stroke, come out permantly disabled or even a temporay disability which would involve 10-12 months of rehabilitation. Seth for the past 4 years has worked as an apprentice chef and never taken a day off unless he was made to, even after recieving this diagnosis, Seth was keen to go back to work but was told this was not possible. He has also nearly finished this apprenticeship as of june this year. Like any 21 year old starting up Seth has financial responsibilities. These responsibilities whilst not being able to earn an income for up to a year will prove an extra unwanted burden in any possible recovery.

My wife Kylie and I, have limited resources to help Seth financially, but will also have our own expenses moving forward while supporting him through his recovery, The days we need to take off work, travel expenses, rent and normal every day bills which will prove difficult when we only have limited leave available through our employers.
