Seth's Car Lost to Flood: A Helping Hand
Donation protected
Hello!
On July 8, 2025, Seth was on his way to rehearsal when it began raining. It came quickly and was a torrential downpour. What he did not know was that the creek that ran alongside Highway 78 was about to flood. The water rose quickly, and his car began to float as his tires left the pavement. He acted quickly and called the police, as he realized how fast the water was rising. The police officer told us that a family of beavers in the creek had built a dam, and it broke, causing the road to flood. We are very fortunate and thankful that Seth was not injured.
We are almost 6 weeks away from Seth's move-out date for college. He will be 6 hours from home and now he will be without a car. We are hoping to find him a reliable used car, but we do not have the funds to buy another car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
