Hi, my name is Seth, and I am fundraising to take part in a World Challenge trip with my school to Namibia in 2026. The purpose of the trip is to collaborate with an organisation dedicated to conserving the environment, wildlife and culture of Namibia.
Namibia is a stunning country, with astounding landscapes and beautiful wildlife. However, the wildlife is facing a large threat: civil development. As a developing country, the population of Namibia is ever growing, causing changes in the natural habitats of indigenous species. On top of that, poaching unfortunately still remains a large scale problem, especially for endangered species. Our plan is to go there and help restore the natural order.
Our roles on the trip will include travelling to a reserve, where we will experience life in the bush, whilst also helping with the re-wilding project. This includes setting up cameras, to keep an eye on the wildlife; helping set up or mend enclosures to keep amazing creatures safe and to generally lend a helping hand for whatever mother nature might throw our way.
In order to take part in this incredible once in a lifetime opportunity, I need to fundraise £3000. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, it would partly go towards preserving wildlife that faces an everyday struggle for survival, it would also partly go towards travel costs, but most importantly, it would go towards insuring the protection of natures tomorrow.
Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal, any donation that could be spared would be appreciated.
