Church Family and Friends,
Due to the untimely death of my beloved son Seth, we are trying to raise money to give him a proper funeral and burial.
Seth was only 30 years old and still full of life, Seth would've turned 31 years old next month on Thanksgiving! He had the biggest heart, and kept a big smile on his face. Seth is a only child, survived by his mother Cynthia Toodle, Grandmother, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and countless Friends! Seth graduated high school, received several awards for his academic achievements which led Seth to attend college for Criminal Justice. Seth was such a free spirit, very articulate, loved to dress nice, meet new people, and had a special gift with children. He was always ready to take on new challenges! Seth was raised a Christian by his mother and family! Seth loved to spend time with family and friends! He also at one time pursued a musical career and videography.
Thank You to all of you who have given to help with funeral arrangements to date! However as you can see not much has been raised to even begin to cover the costs of a traditional funeral today! With what was given a down payment was made to the funeral home leaving a balance of 3,500.00 just to the funeral home alone. Not to mention bills coming in to the next of kin for the Emergency Ambulance ride to pick up the body $500.00, etc.
As a broken hearted Mother it is hard to understand when I see on the news how people can raise Seventy Thousand Dollars in one day for a teacher on Go Fund Me who beat up a student? Another incident where Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars was raised over months for a supposedly homeless man that went to the lavish life styles of others? Yet a divorced Mother cannot raise enough money to bury her only child? I sincerely ask for prayers and contributions from Churches, Organizations and those who are able to help my family and I during our time of grief over our lost one.
As the Holidays come to a close for me I had no pleasure as this was my first Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year without my son. Now I have to try to pay for funeral cost and debt related to an untimely death. I have been a Foster Parent, a Public Servant and always helped others to the best of my ability. I pray others will show the same Compassion and Empathy towards me in my time of need and grief.
With Love,
Cynthia Toodle & Family
