Dear Friends and Family,

We come together in a great time of need to support Seth, Amy and Carrie Tompkins.

Sadly Seth passed away this afternoon, August 25th, 2023

Seth was truly a good human, he was a caring and loving Husband, Father, Brother, Son-In-Law, Brother-In-Law, and Uncle. He is beloved by the entire family. All of our hearts are broken.

He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if he thought it would help. He’d help anyone with anything. A friend to everyone he's ever met. He was always a hardworking selfless person.

Seth had a smile that lit up the room, He was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, and an avid fisherman, and he was truly one of a kind.

Seth and Amy celebrated their 22nd Wedding Anniversary in June 2023

Their daughter Carrie Graduated with a B.A in June 2023

On August 17th they received news that would profoundly change the course of their lives.

Seth hadn’t been feeling well, His Primary Care Doctor ordered an ultrasound, and it was to happen the morning of August 17th.

Seth had been in excruciating pain during the night before.

They canceled the ultrasound appointment and went straight to the emergency room at St. Charles.

The Doctors ordered a CT scan, they broke the devastating diagnosis that Seth had End Stage Cancer. He was admitted to the hospital for pain management as well as a biopsy to see what type of Cancer they were up against.

The biopsy results revealed there were no treatment options available.

On August 23 he was medically transported to their home in Lapine, OR, he was set up to receive Comfort Care and Hospice.

On August 25th Seth passed away peacefully at home with his wife Amy and daughter Carrie at his bedside.

Amy is a self-employed Nail Technician and co-owner of a salon. Over the past 8 days, She has been by Seth’s side at the hospital and caring for him since he was transported home, she’ll be taking a few additional days off to get his affairs in order. During this time she had no income to cover the monthly household expenses.

Carrie – Their daughter has taken leave from her job to return to her parent’s home, to spend time with and provide care for her Dad, she too had no income during this time.

We humbly ask for your support in prayers and contributions to help alleviate the financial burden on Amy and her daughter Carrie during this most stressful time.

The emotional and financial toll of this situation is immense, and that’s where we can make a difference.
