My son Seth Recently returned from a mission and was excited to attend college to further his education. He found a part time job that would work with his schedule. He also had a scholarship to help with the expenses. All was going well until he started having trouble with his right arm and speech. He called me and I took him to the emergency room. After a number of tests and what seemed like a forever wait the ER doctor came in the room and told us that he has MS. I cant tell you how hard it was to watch my son's dreams leave his face that day.
Since that day and a whirl wind of Doctors visits and time spent in the Hospital, Seth is trying to continue with his life. He has lost his scholarship and has had to get a full time job in order to continue with his schooling. Although he is making it work it is hard to watch him try and work a full time job and attend school full time while we try and figure out how to help him cover the medical expenses. His family is currently working out the cost of insurance but cannot help with his schooling. Because stress and exhaustion can cause lesions on Seth's brain I am hoping to raise a little money to help relieve some of the financial burden he is feeling. I would be forever grateful for any help so that Seth can continue his education.
