Set up a poultry rare breeds conservation.

Hello.

Some of you may know me or of me amongst the poultry world. We breed and show chooks working on quality, colours and our rare breeds.

My daughter and I particularly love our rare breeds and we both have a passion to preserve the breed at a high standard. We would ultimately love to help preserve all breeds on the rare and critical list but it’s a slow process.

Our goal is to set up a section of the farm with individual pens with a walking track, chairs natives etc etc. we would love to run open days to allow people to see and educate people about a side of poultry that may well fade away.

Anyway, any help is good help. We will be embarking on this mission no matter what as it’s our passion. We are happy to accept any materials that may help but due to work commitments that will be limited to locals.
