Set Sail, Sweet Sue

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Margaret Haines, aged 75, on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, in Grants Pass, Oregon. Susie was a beloved and cherished neighbor, friend, mother, grandmother, sister, and wife. She will be dearly and deeply missed by all who she graced.

Born on November 15th, 1949, in Portland, Oregon, Sue was known for her artistry, care, compassion, and kindness. She always absorbed every moment to the fullest and spent her life spreading joy and laughter. You could always find her in the craft room, garden, or kitchen. If you ever needed an ear or a hand, she was always available with a big heart, a bright smile, and a full plate.

Susie is survived by her husband, Gary/Shiloh; her siblings, Bobby, Denise, Dora, and Oren; her children and bonus children, Claudine, Jason, Jesi, John, Rachel, and Sarah; and her grandchildren, Alora, Arielle, Asher, Ayden, Brianna, Cyrus, Ellie, Gabe, JJ, Maxwell, and Sasha. Her boundless love and warm heart touched many more, and her memory, goodwill, and light will be forever cherished.
