Many of you know Sesame. He is my 6 year old Netherland Dwarf who is full of love and energy. We brought him home in 2020 during COVID, And he's been our best little buddy since! I have so many memories of him, Grandpa and I that I am so fond of ❤️

Early in the morning of March 8, my little Sesame was doing his usual morning dances for his salad — figure 8's around my feet and darting from left to right super fast and I had accidentally stepped on his right hind leg and broke it.

I had chosen to do splint therapy as this was the least invasive option, but with time, Sesame's foot is not healing at all and now requires amputation.

My heart is broken. It was a honest freak accident and could've happened to anyone. Each and every day I give Sesame the fullest life, with all of the love and pampering he could get and one accident doesn't negate that. I will continue to do just so after his surgery. I'm sure Sesame will live a happy, joyful life as a tripod bunny. He is in great shape otherwise!

As we know, vet bills can be costly, so I am kindly asking my friends and family if they can help with Sesame's surgery. We appreciate it so much, and thank you for those who have helped already!
