Hello,

My name is Kaylan, and I’ve been a RN in the NICU for 9 years. Some of my dearest friends are experiencing first hand the difficulties families face in the NICU.

The Murphy family was ready and set for baby boy number 3. After a difficult delivery, baby James has some health problems stemming from a lack of oxygen during the labor and/or delivery process. He is currently stable, on the ventilator, and has been transferred to a hospital with more advanced options for continued care.

During this time, being away from their home and other two sons, the Murphys will have to fund hotels, food, travel, etc to visit their sick infant. I’m praying these funds will be blessed immensely and that they will be able to take one “worry” off their plates and can focus everything to being there for their child.
