Serving in Mexico 2020

Hello friends!!

I am so excited to share with you that I will be returning to Mexico in January of 2020 to fulfill a 6-month substitute teaching position with Global Education Ministries!

As many of you know, back in 2014 I had the opportunity back to move to Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico, to serve as a missionary preschool teacher with an organization called Global Education Ministries. The heart and mission of GEM is to share the love of God  and spread The Good News through providing quality education that offers life changing opportunities. In my two years of serving with GEM, I was blessed to see God transform lives and grow his Kingdom in beautiful ways.

I returned to Canada in 2016 to work as a children's ministry director at my church and have been pursuing a degree in early childhood studies. However, after becoming aware of some great need that exists at the school in Puerto Escondido, and through careful prayer and consideration, I have decided to take a semester off of my studies to help support the work that God is doing at Manantial (the school). 

As I prepare to head into this season , I am seeking out financial support in order to help provide for my living costs as I serve in a volunteer capacity. If you feel led to support me financially in any way, I would be immensely grateful for anything you are able to give. I also ask that you would join me in praying for this ministry and for what God has in store. Pray for GEM to continue reaching children & families with the love of Jesus and that many would receive the gift of eternal life in Him!
