IT'S TIME FOR CHANGE! A 100% committed life to serving our God is my goal... I have been consistent in NOT doing that. So... It's time for change; time to put some distance between me and my goals and dreams. Time to focus on growing my relationship with God, who gave His life for me and gave me this life to live. A series of mountaineering courses were on the immediate agenda and a couple of the 7 summits, including Everest, as the ultimate goal. But first and foremost I want to be where God wants me to be spiritually so I can serve how and where He has called me. I am preparing to leave on a 6 month missions trip with Global Tribes Outreach. Here is a brief overview of what I will be doing...

Edge is a six-month leadership program designed to help you become a leader, passionate about serving Jesus, willing to stand for truth, and courageous in caring for the hearts of others. While in Edge, you will not only journey through your own heart, but get to be a part of advancing the Kingdom of God throughout Asia. You, along with five other guys, will travel into many different countries experiencing new cultures, serve and encourage longterm missionaries, carry God's Word into closed countries, and live as a witness for Him wherever you go. 

I have a passion for travel and taking on various extreme challenges. As mentioned earlier, I really want my life to have purpose in God's Kingdom. I don't see myself settling in, chasing a career and living the American dream. In my quest for higher summits and  travels I also want to spread God's Word and show others His love for us. I also have a heart for kids that have been rejected and have to survive on literally nothing. I want to set time and money aside to be a help in some of these desperate situations. I also want my life to be an inspiration; an inspiration to be active, pursue goals and give life my best using the talents God gave me and to gain more talents.

In December I was on a short term missions trip and the picture below show a small glimpse of what I was and will be doing.
