Serving Dennis Pete

He has served many of us in Atlanta and around the country for a long time! It's our chance now to serve him.

Dennis Pete. Long-term Urban Young Life leader. Mentor and friend to thousands. Worship leader par excellence! Role model.

Dennis turns 75 this year, and has faced health challenges with rising costs and a recent home flooding event. The home where he's lived for 27 years, he has hosted so many kids and leaders and so much more. His 2 sons live in Atlanta, and his daughter in Jacksonville, FL.

Dennis is part of a senior YL group called PRYME (stands for Pastoral Resources for Youth Ministry Encouragement) started 25 years ago that has been serving locally in ATL since 2016 as Charlie and Mary Scott retired here.

PRYME is leading this GoFundMe effort along with the Young Life Atlanta Project. These groups note that Dennis plays a senior statesman role for the over 55 years of YL Urban ministry in the metro area. Today, ministry is happening at many schools both downtown and at all 4 points of the compass around the city. PTL!
