Services for Wayne Smith

It breaks my heart today to be writing this but after a little over a year of my grandfathers struggle with cancer, God was finally ready for him. Wayne has passed on August 9th after being hospitalized in the ICU last Friday due to a severe case of pneumonia. Due to the cancer and chemo his body was no longer strong enough to fight off the infection. He passed with his family surrounding him and is now in a better place where he is no longer struggling. Unfortunately, this comes with having to deal with the financial burdens of losing a loved one. We are granting his wishes but my family would appreciate any help we can get during this hard time in our lives. It’s the last thing we want our grandmother to have to worry about.  My grandfather was an amazing man who lived a very happy life. We are all going to miss him terribly. He would appreciate anyone who helps his family. Anything raised will go to help his loving wife Karen pay for his service and towards paying down any remaining medical expenses.  As a family we could never thank you enough for any help given.
