As you all may or may not have known, my 19 year old baby brother,  basically my twin and life long best friend, Stephen, tragically died in a fatal car accident Friday evening on his way to Tallahassee, FL for a computer science tournament at FSU called Hacakathon. This seminar would have allowed him to compete and create new opportunities for himself and to do what he loved- computer coding and programming. Every day he was working so hard and diligently to just build up his resume and continue his journey with his paid internship studying  data warehouse research all in his second year at UCF (( his biggest dream was to one day code for Google )). Stephen had the purest soul, the most contagious laugh and a charismatic personality that resonated on everybody he talked to. A scholar, Stephen had a 3.7 college GPA at UCF, was an AP scholar with distinction, obtained the full Florida Bright Futures scholarship, and graduated at the top 5% of McArthur High School. Our worst nightmare became a reality this weekend after our Stephen was taken from us way too soon and unfortunately, this nightmare has brought a huge financial burden on all of Stephen’s family and loved ones. Anything would help with the devastating loss of Stephen and we are eternally grateful for any donations to help lay his perfect soul to rest.
