Our brother has fallen.
Whenever Ben asked for help, it was serious. We are only asking because we are in need.
Benjamin Daniel Dees: a Marine, a father, a son, a brother, a friend and overall a genuinely kind hearted man.
His demons have overtaken him. This has been an uphill battle that even the toughest biggest baddest Marine couldn’t overcome.
Unfortunately, secondary effects of this diagnosis caused him to become discharged under other than honorable conditions.
In spite of the fact that he was a stellar Marine, 300 PFT stud, he was suffering where we couldn’t see.
Due to this, he is ineligible for military honors or benefits. Please help. We are trying to get his disability to be backdated to his initial diagnosis. However, it’s still a long shot. We need help paying for transportation of him from Tennessee to California to be laid to rest with his family, burial and funeral home costs and fees, services and medical bills.
I know this is a lot, and any bit helps, and we would be greatly appreciative of anything.
Everyday, 22 veterans lose their battle to post traumatic stress on American soil. That is 1 veteran every 65 minutes. On this day, Ben is one of those 22.
