Sadly I come to you all to humbly ask for help with covering the costs of services so that the burden doesn't fall on my parents.
Yesterday morning, after fighting for almost two years with the rare Castlemans disease, my little big brother is no longer in pain. In his final hours he was surrounded by his kids & loved ones. He had one request before he left this earth & he was granted it.
He asked to be cremated which we will fulfill and a gathering for the celebration of his life. I'm asking for your help to make it the best celebration he could of ever had.
Jason was a son, a brother, a father, an uncle, and so much more to many others. He had a smile that I miss already.
What's Castlemans disease?
"Castleman disease (CD) is a rare condition that affects the immune system and is characterized by swollen lymph nodes. Bone marrow creates immune cells that help our bodies fight infections. In CD, there is an abnormal overgrowth of these cells, causing lymph nodes to swell and resemble a tumor. However, these growths are not cancerous.
