Memorial service and to bring our Mother back Home

Family & Friends it comes with a broken heart that we have to do this. Never in a million years was I prepared to write this , Our mother Melissa Ann Rubio transitioned to rest with God in his kingdom April 23rd around 7am. She took her last breath in her home. Where she lived with my father Oscar Rubio husband of over 35 years and her children and grand son. Many of you that knew my mother she had a big heart the BIGGEST and touched any life she came in contact with, she was the absolutely definition of warmth & unconditional love. Realness. Strength , Spirit & Respect.
She would give her last dollar just to see someone smile, she loved unconditionally opened her home to anyone in need, never failed to put out a feast and bring everyone together. She was the family. She was a mother figure & friend to many, a tia to others, & a Nina to one. The backbone to her family & she loved it. Melissa was sick for most of her life (2 brain aneuryms, fibromyalgia, congential heart failure, kidney problems, bulging discs in back) and often times worst then others but that never stopped her from being her and fulfilling her mission, building a family of believers. Jesus risen. She is and was a fighter. Army baby. She fought and fought to be on this earth with her family & was so happy and very proud to be a grandmother. My mother was born and raised in her words “killa cali”
San Pedro California harbor area so she had that california cool to her she never forgot were she came from, her roots and her last wishes was to go back home one last time. She moved to Arizona and ended life here 40yrs. Born July 2 1967 she was still so young and had so much life to live but God called her home suddenly that we were not prepared for. So we are asking for the help you can give - prayers and any contributions towards the services for our mother. Her last wish was to be back home & that’s what will be. My mother took care of so many and I hope we can take care of her. Celebrate her life & give her a glorious memorial service.

Thank you in advance
