This summer, I am planning on going on a service trip to Monterrey, Mexico. I will be traveling with a group who participate at the local Opus Dei center, Sauganash. Our objective is to visit a village in the mountains and help impoverished families build their homes during the morning. In the afternoon, we will run a camp for the children of the village in the local parish.

This opportunity means a lot to me, as it allows me to give back and learn from a community that faces many challenges. By working together with my peers, I hope to make a real difference in the lives of the families we meet, not only by helping to build safe and stable homes, but also by sharing moments of joy and learning with the children during our camp activities. I am excited to grow in my own faith and compassion through this experience, and to bring hope and support to those who need it most.
