Service Expenses for Martina McCray
Donation protected
These past few months, Tina was battling her autoimmune disease and the very first symptom started in February where she felt seriously ill. She went to the hospital and was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis meaning her immune system attacked her liver, then spread to the rest of her body. Unfortunately, she lost her battle with this illness on July 4, 2020 at 6:20 pm at Swedish Hospital. She fought hard until the very end and we are grateful to have her in our lives.
Martina was a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a friend across all walks of life and she knew how to make the whole room light up wherever she went. She taught her family the traditions of the Navajo culture and all of the good in knowing where one comes from. She also had worked for the State of Colorado for 26 years and had numerous friends while working at the Colorado State Capital and then later at DORA. Tina loved to play pool and was the top women's shooter in her league and her team was in first place before COVID-19 took over. Tina was very passionate about the things she loved doing and indulged in a number of crafts throughout her whole life. She will be very missed across all nations.
We are now asking everyone and anyone to contribute (as soon as possible) to her final resting services in Gallup, New Mexico where Martina will be joining her mother, her sister and her brother. The expenses will be covering 2 mortuaries in Colorado and New Mexico including a flight to bring my mother back home where she will rest at. My father Douglas Smith, my sister Ashleigh McCray and myself, Fatima Smith, will be handling any final arrangements. Please feel free to reach out to Fatima Smith for any questions during this difficult time
