Service Dog

Please help me raise money to get a service dog. Hi, I’m Ileana... I have a long line of health issues dating back to 8th grade. It all started with my first ever episode of syncope (passing out). When it happened I didn't think anything much of it, I mean considering it was the only incident that happened that year. My freshman year rolled around, my health slowly started getting poor. My anxiety and heart were both playing a roll in something much bigger. They would drain my strength and that slowly caused my immune system to get weak. This is where sophomore year came into play, I would get sick a lot with little viral infection here and there. And then things got way harder... Junior year, had to have been by far the most awful year for me or so I had thought. I had my first ever seizure along with multiple syncope episodes. I missed a lot of school. I had to visit every single type of specialist you can think of, a cardiologist, endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, and a neurologist. All of which we're just trying to figure out what was happening to me. The gastroenterologist figured out I have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), that alone causes a lot of problems. Then the cardiologist found an extra spark in my heart (Wolff Parkinson White syndrome) it gives me a little extra beat that makes me feel out of breath, dizzy, and tired. The endocrinologist found spikes in my sugar... she figured out I had spikes of high glucose and spikes of low glucose therefore they’re treating me as a type one diabetic hence the little thingy on my arm y’all probably see in posts. The highest my sugar has ever been was 562 the lowest my sugar has ever been is 23. These crazy fluctuations in my glucose cause so many things to act up with each other. Neurologists found nothing so we were at a confusing point as to why seizures were even a thing because every time I have one my sugars are perfectly fine. So it wasn’t that. The only thing that was out of wack during a seizure is my heart rate it can be as high as 230 then just drop randomly to 109. That year was so difficult. 2020 rolled around oh how I envy this year... I had two seizures in January and February, March I had heart surgery to get a recorder implanted to keep track of my heart rate. My cardiologist recognized I have a dysautonomia disorder it is an Autonomic nervous system that is trigger by a variety of things but causes everything in my body to act up. I was doing so good until august when I had a bad seizure, after that, I kinda fell into a bit of sadness I'm so tired of all the doctors' appointments and being sleepy all the time, and just not fully healthy. That sums up my life. I’m tired, have a fever and school is stressful. But I’ll get through it all.
