Service Dog Training for Epilepsy

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Michael Erickson and I am an epileptic. My epilepsy causes focal aware and unaware seizures causing me extreme duress. This leaves me in an intense situation where I require support and rescue medication. The epilepsy has had a huge impact on my life and my family’s lives. I have spent countless hours in doctor’s offices, the hospital and even had an implant surgically implanted. I have had to take two periods of disability, the second of which extending into long term. My wife has spent countless hours caring for me and two kids. It has been a difficult time for all of us.
We have recently purchased a chocolate lab puppy, Freyja, to train as a service dog; however, we are in need of financial assistance to afford the high level of training required. Our funds raised will be used in funding the service dog training to provide help for my epilepsy. Freyja would provide support during the seizures, be trained to alert my wife and be trained to grab my rescue medicine, or provide it via vest in public, so I can make them stop.
