Service Dog For Sophie

Hi. My name is Sophie, and I'm 18 years old. On December 18, 2019, I was in a severe car accident on my way to school. I ended up with a fractured L1 Transverse process in my back and a pretty severe concussion. I knew I was going to have a long road of recovery ahead of me, but after a few months I still felt the same. I ended up getting extensive amounts of testing done and we found out that I have a condition called vasovagal syncope. This condition causes me to react to stress and anxiety differently than other people. It causes me to faint and feel lightheaded pretty much every day of my life. My doctors and I have decided that a specially trained service dog would make my life a lot easier. Service dogs are quite expensive, so I need all the help I can get to reach my goal. Having this dog would help me get back on track to living a normal life again. As of right now, I have had to take medical leave from college, and there's nothing that I want more than to be back in the learning environment.
