Hi, I'm Andie, a queer disabled Latina, and I could really use your help in paying for my service dog.
I’m 22 years old and have been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, craniocervical instability, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), and more. These conditions have changed my life completely. I was a competitive dancer for over a decade, a lover of aerial arts; now, there are days I need help crossing my own apartment.
Getting a service dog with training in mobility assistance, medical alerting, and retrieving would mean I would be able to pursue a degree, get back to work, and be able to live a more full life where I can be independent!
The number $17,000 is actually only half of what the full cost is; I have a loan for the other half.
