Hello, my name is Shane and I am a 42 year old Army veteran. I was an infantry soldier for 5 years and then was in Iraq with the Department of State until 2011. I have been diagnosed with PTSD and it has been recommended I get a service dog for the anxiety and anger etc. the problem is a trained animal can run anywhere from 15k - 30k. I met this guy Stephen out of Clovis NM that runs Bottom Line K9, he is an Air Force veteran as well. He gets vets paired with dogs at a huge discounted price, all in for 6k, which includes continued training for me and the animal. I hate to ask for help, but I cannot afford this any other way. I have 4 children, 2 boy and 2 girls so not a lot of extra money laying around. The VA covers the cost of all the veterinary expenses for the life of my dog as well, so he will well loved and taken care of. My goals with this page is to raise enough money to cover my animal, and everything over will go directly to pair other vets who need an animal as well.
