Serve with Heart: Tijuana Mission Trip

Hello, we are SYNC youth from The Servant Korean Evangelical Church of Atlanta! We have been blessed with the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Tijuana, Mexico, this upcoming July. For some, this will be their first time serving as a missionary. For others, this will serve as another testament to their faith and readiness to serve.

Regardless of experience, all of us have encountered God’s presence in our lives and know that He has called us to serve and fulfill His will. In Mexico, we will be partnering with stationed missionaries from our church to support families, serve the children, and most importantly, share the love of God. The missionaries’ long-standing love and devotion to the local communities inspires us to give our very best efforts in this mission trip, which is why we thought it would be great to leave them with a gift for the community’s future use, whether that be something for the students, the locals, or their church. Our goal is to bless them as they’ve been a blessing to many others.

Beyond language barriers, churches everywhere, at the core, have the same heart: the deep desire to serve people with compassion, grace, and humility. Like Paul, a former persecutor who transformed into one of Christianity’s greatest disciples, humbled himself to give others a chance to know Jesus, we aspire to introduce the goodness of God’s love to the people of Tijuana by truly humbling ourselves to become servants of God. With your help, financially or spiritually, we hope that this humility will travel with us to the locals and around the world.
