Serve it Forward Medical and Essential Supplies Mission

In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, thousands of Jamaicans, especially in the western parishes, continue to struggle with the devastating effects. Many families remain without power, access to clean water, or medical care. As communities move from emergency relief to recovery, we are seeing a growing need among children, the elderly, and bedridden individuals who are unable to reach clinics or hospitals that remain inaccessible. To meet these needs, we have launched the Serve It Forward: Medical and Essential Supplies Mission, in partnership with several NGOs and private sector organizations.

Our Mission

Serve It Forward is mobilizing a team of doctors, volunteers, and community leaders to:

• Conduct medical home visits to provide checkups and basic care for vulnerable individuals.

• Distribute essential medical and hygiene supplies to affected families.

• Provide temporary power and communication support in disconnected communities.

How Your Support Helps

We have organized a three-tier contribution system to guide how support will be used.

Tier 1: Contributions will support the purchase of medical supplies, including hydrogen peroxide, crepe bandages, gauze, antibiotic creams, medical tape, gloves, pain relievers, glucose and blood pressure machines, and other essential items.

Tier 2: Continued support for the delivery of essential supplies such as food and household items during targeted medical home visits to vulnerable households.

Tier 3: Contributions will go toward purchasing a Starlink Mini mobile system to support field communication and a generator to provide temporary power for charging devices in disconnected communities.
