Serve and care foundation

We are running a small organization with the name Serve & Care Foundation. We aim to eradicate illiteracy and mental poverty among the underprivileged. We do this by helping kids, who are out of school, get admission in reputable institutions and receive quality education. Initially the idea was to conduct courses and donate the amount to institutions working for this cause.

After a few months, the Serve & Care Foundation opened its first school on the roof of a building in Garden West Karachi. The school was for those kids who were out-of-school. They were taught basic literacy through a mixture of two courses: Jugnu and Jolly Phonics.

With around 25 kids currently studying in our institution, we have opened our own centre in Gaye Chaal, near Manji chakki, Garden East Karachi. The organization is determined to identify as many out-of-school kids as possible and prepare them and get them enrolled in quality schools.

Currently, we have expenses such as rental payments, salaries for teachers who prepare the kids for school admissions, bills, helping the families in bearing school expenses for the kids who have been admitted in school, which includes admission expenses and transportation costs. Monthly fees have been adjusted for them by the school itself.

Besides that, we have identified several out-of-school kids in other areas and we need funds to open centres there and hire staff. Any help would be appreciated.
