Hello Friends and Family, our production of Carlo Goldoni's THE SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS has been selected to perform at the prestigious Edinburgh International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is an amazing honor, and we are excited beyond belief. However, as we have entered SERVANT as an independent production--as opposed to Regent University produced, there are a great many expenses we need to cover if this dream is to become a reality: rental of the venue, marketing, registration with the Fringe Festival, and all the costs related to reviving the production. WE NEED YOUR HELP to get the production to Edinburgh, and to help cover student expenses. If we can get 400 hundred of our friends and family to donate $25 each we can remount this hilarious show in Scotland!
The Fringe is one of the most exciting theatre festivals in the world. Our students will not only perform, they will be able to experience productions featuring amazing artists from around the globe. The students definitely have "skin in the game" and are fully committed to purchasing their flights, food, and discounted lodging has already been reserved in the heart of Old Town Edinburgh near our venue.
We’ve paid our registration fee with the Fringe Festival Office and our first installment payment on our venue rental (about $2700). We’ve two more rental installments to go—the next coming due on May 1. THAT’S WHERE YOUR HELP COMES IN. Our performance dates are August 4-11 ( Saturday to Saturday) and we'd love to see you in Edinburgh! In the meantime, please consider helping us make this exciting opportunity a reality with a donation of $25 (or more if you can!). We REALLY do need your help! We know we have a great show featuring an amazingly talented cast and crew--a show that is perfect fit for the Fringe. Help us get it there! Thank you and bless you for helping. Check back periodically to see how we're doing. As we get closer we’ll create a Facebook page so everyone can follow along with us. Please share our link—we're counting on you to help us SPREAD THE WORD!
