Jose Serrano lost not only his brother but his mother in the same week. As the family leader, they turn to him to try to amass the incredible sum to handle the arrangements. Not only is this a crushing emotional loss, but this will also be a substantial financial burden for his family. Mr. Serrano has done so much for our community and asked for nothing. The only reward is the game's happiness and love from all the players from Region 16, whose lives have been enriched by his undying commitment to soccer in this area. I am reaching out to all former players, parents, coaches, referees, and all the people's lives who have been enriched by knowing this amazing man in this time of need. I hope that we can lessen this incredible burden by banding together and helping this man who has helped so many others.
