this is my story
My Property Management Company has been abusive, violating fair housing laws and Arizona laws.
I complained and they asked me to leave
I left
They say I owe them $4K for the convenience of leaving
If I can't pay, my credit will be toast, and I can't move into a new apartment until I pay their bill and get a letter from them.
I am currently couch surfing with my Service Dog Cupid (I have epilepsy)
How I would Use money:
- hire lawyer to sue to receive back the money that I will have to pay them today
- hire lawyer to sue for discrimination, if necessary
- pay costs associated with moveout, for instance, internet disconnection fee
- Eat food if my food stamps runs out because I don't currently have an address.
- Receive health care for epilepsy if I don't have decent insurance because I live in Arizona
- Feed my dog
- Stop borrowing money from one of my best friends
- allow me to sell my diamond ring for a low price to salesmen who don't want me to pay what my insurance company says it's worth
