Hello friends,
Thank you all for your support and for following along on my healing journey. I wanted to share an update on my condition and medical treatment.
THE GOOD NEWS!
Whereas before I was experiencing 9/10 pain, I’m currently taking a combination of pain meds that thankfully are working, so it’s down to about 3/10. I’m able to work and function, and I am so grateful for this relief.
THE BAD NEWS…
Unfortunately, though the pain is lessened, my bone condition itself is not improving, and will require a radical surgery to remove more of my jaw. A Cat scan was performed recently and the amount of healthy jaw bone on the lower left side is actually decreasing, instead of growing like we hoped.
The next possible procedure is an all-day surgery where 6 surgeons will work on me simultaneously. This surgery will remove part of my leg bone, muscle and skin to form a replacement to the dead jaw bone. It is an extensive surgery, and there are only a few surgeons who even do this surgery.
Whoa, right?
The doctor has said that my quality of life will likely significantly decrease after the surgery and that I should delay as long as possible. The surgery is a two month process during which I will mostly not be able to continue working. After the surgery if all goes well, I will be limited in the kinds of foods I’ll be able to eat, I will lose sensation on the left side of my face due to nerve damage, and I’ll need to learn how to use the new half of a mouth due to tooth loss.
For now the doctor/surgeon advises taking the pain modifiers, being careful to not eat foods that put any pressure on the jaw. I also need to be careful with what kinds of activities that I do. I must avoid falling or being hit in the jaw because it is so fragile.
I’m definitely concerned about finances and my quality of life and at the same time I’m committed to enjoying life as best as I can every day. This includes working with my wonderful clients. My practice is thriving and the people whom I am blessed to serve are truly amazing. I have a front row seat to their personal transformation, and the increased satisfaction in their relationships.
HOW YOU CAN HELP NOW:
I’ll be in the Bay Area from May 11th - June 12th to guide clients, see friends and visit family.
I would LOVE your support by continuing to send visionary prayers where my body heals itself. I know miracles happen all the time.
Booking a one on one journey or couples journey with me while I’m in the Bay Area.
If you have skills or the ability to help me draft a living will, create end of life care documents and/ or what would be a good quality of term life insurance.
Body work, sound healing, or acupuncture gifts are welcome
Contribute to my Go Fund me account, proceeds will assist in paying my deductible, health care costs that are not covered and not being able to work for a few months if surgery is necessary
Sharing my Go Fund me campaign on your social media would help greatly.
I am appreciative of all of your love and good healing energy, I trust I’ll find a way with the support of friends, family and lots of purrs from our two adorable kitties.
Blessings and gratitude,
Timothy
