Serious Accident-Julian and Sarah Need Your Help!
Donation protected
On May 16, 2023 fifteen year old Julian Blagg was critically injured as the passenger in a motor vehicle accident. The extent of his injuries required he be flown via air ambulance from the small hospital in his hometown to a tertiary pediatric facility hundreds of miles from where they live. Injuries included, but may not be limited to: multiple fractures in his back, shoulder and arm; bruised lungs; an abdominal bleed from his spleen; and neurological concerns due to possible injury to his brain.
His mother Sarah Thompson provides an imperative service to the community with her dog training and boarding business, which is her sole source of income. She wasn't able to accompany Julian on his medivac flight as she emergently insures that the dogs entrusted in her care were properly provided for, which include shelter dogs she is training. Sarah is flying in a trainer from Colorado to assure the same specialized training services she provides can continue in her absence.
Julian's extensive injuries will most likely require a long hospital stay and a lengthly recovery. Sarah and Julian have been some of the first to help other's when they were in need, often caring for animals requiring her expertise at no charge when an owner or a shelter didn't have the funds for her services. Sarah's place is by her son's side and anything we can do collectively as a community to relieve their financial burden would be an invaluable gift.
