Series 3 land rover needing a new chassis

Hi, I’m Pebbles and I am trying to raise money to replace the chassis in my mums series 3 land rover.

Rex has been in the family for 22 years and he was our only family car. He’s taken me to nursery, primary and secondary school, my sister to the hospital twice whilst she was in labour and my cousin when she was in labour too! One fond memory i have is going down the A14 at 30 mph causing absolute chaos!

Around 14years ago Rex had a dash fire in the middle of Cambridge. Unfortunately the insurance company wanted to scrap him so he went up to Stoke-on-Trent to be crushed. It took my parents around a year to get him back, when he did come back he was battered and some parts were missing, luckily though they did get some money back to fix his body work and mend the dash.

Rex is now 53 years old and his chassis has now snapped in half so for the last 8 months he’s been parked up. Sadly my mum is on the brink of selling him as she cannot afford to buy a new chassis which is breaking her as he’s been a massive part of her life as well as mine.
