In one second, your whole life can change. It can be a small change, or a significant one. Either way, all we know is that it happened. And when change comes our way, we have to embrace it, good or bad. When the change is negative, we have to be there for our loved ones in any way possible, to help them through the darkness and back into the light. And there is always light, even at the end of the darkest of tunnels. There is a light Sergio; a bright one waiting for you at the end of this tunnel that we will all be here to walk you through <3

My fiance and I have started this gofundme to help raise money for my brother-in-law's medical expenses.

Sergio was involved in a serious car accident on the morning of October 29th. His injuries thus far have thankfully not been life threatining but severely life-changing.

He has been in a medically induced coma since the accident and on a breathing machine. He is currently suffering from a broken sternum, a partially collapsed lung, a disconnected neck vertebrae, a disconnected back vertebrae and a damaged spinal cord.

As of now, we have been told by doctors that he is going to be paralyzed, but still unclear of the extent of the paralysis. We have also been told he will need a tracheotomy to breath on his own.

Any donations raised will be given to Barbie Valdivia, our amazing sister and Sergio's wife to help with any medical and living expenses they may have.

It is going to be a long and hard journey to recovery, but Sergio is a warrior and will pull through. We know all help will be imensely appreciated by Sergio, Barbie, and all our family.
