It was difficult for our family to keep his condition under wraps for the short amount of time he was diagnosed. 
My father was a very private man and I know many would appriciate to know his story.

Sergio was diganosed with stage 3 colon cancer in May of 2015. The found a mass in his colon after driving himself to the emergency room. He had some of the mass removed but it rapidly progressed to stage 4 where it then metastasized to his liver and lungs. Through out all of this he tried chemo through IV and also the pill form as well as countless visits to the emergency room, oncology appointments, medication changes, blood draws, procedues and hospital admittings. 

Sergio Antonio Kasten lost a very short and private battle to colon cancer on March 31, 2016, 10:45pm at the age of 60.
