My name is Yamila Rivero and I am the youngest daughter of two for the Cuban artist/composer, Sergio Rivero El Haitiano. I grew up a child of an artist and musician not knowing the impact his body of work would have. It is because of him I have always been proud of my Afro-Cuban heritage. I hope you share in continuing to support him after death as I look to embody his work in an exhibit memorializing his contribution to Cuban culture.

However, sadly today, we find ourselves seeking your support to provide Sergio Rivero with the dignified farewell he deserves. Sergio lived his life celebrating every note and rhythm, and it is our wish to honor his life and his work in a manner that reflects his fashionable spirit.

We are reaching out to Sergio's fans, friends, and the music community to help us raise funds for his burial service. Your contribution, no matter how small, would greatly help us his family in giving him a fitting tribute.

Unfortunately, like some talented artists, he did not make a financial plan for burial services.
