The world lost a beautiful soul, and heaven gained an angel. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sergio De La Precilla who suddenly passed away Saturday June 7th, 2025.

He left behind his loving son Diego. While Sergio will always be with us in spirit, Diego will no longer have his father to guide him through the challenges of life and celebrate all his milestones.

Sergio was a dedicated father to his son Diego who was “One of the best things that ever happened in my life”. He always showed immense love and pride for Diego and strived to have the same close relationship he had with his own father. Diego was more than the greatest thing to happened to him, he was his lifelong best friend. From the moment Diego was born, he brought immeasurable joy and love into Sergio’s life. He would tell everyone about how he has grown into the incredible man he is today and how being his father was the greatest privilege of his life.

For everyone else that was lucky enough to have Sergio in their lives, there will never be enough space to write all the memories we have had with him or how he touched our lives. He had a unique friendship with everyone in his life. He was the best friend you needed that moment in your life to support you. Time and distance never changed his love and friendship for people, it always felt as if you just spoke yesterday and he was still a call away if you ever needed him. You were the person we could tell all our secrets to, and who we can trust with our life. You were the person that brought out the good in us and helped steer us away from the bad. You were the person to stay up late at night for support even if it was surrounded by silence. You always put everyone first. You were the person who was always was there through the good, the bad, and tough times. You had no siblings but you were the big brother to us all that we all needed and loved.

Diego, our condolences on the passing of your father but I promise you there are so many of us that will be there for you for the rest of your life.
