Hi, my name is Nicole Sommers, and I am the wife of a fellow officer at Mike's department.

 

This past Wednesday, Mike was severely injured during an altercation with a suspect on a call. He was struck several times with a knife in the head, face, neck, upper chest and left hand. He has a fractured skull and lost a lot of blood.

 

He has a long road ahead of him, both physically and mentally. Your support is much appreciated as he and his family face the challenges brought on by this vicious attack.

 

No officer's family ever wants to receive a call like this. We stand behind Mike, Jessica and their kids to get them through this difficult time.
