Check our cause, the purpose of the money, the perks, and the team!

1. THE CAUSE
- The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which we'll write, shoot, edit and score a film all in just 48 hours. This year is from Friday the 22nd at 7 pm to Sunday the 24th at 7 pm.
- On Friday night, we'll get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to be included in our movie (which is to be between 4 to 7 minutes). 48 hours later, the movie must be complete. It will show at a local theater, usually the following week.
- The winning film will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2022 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2022 Short Film Corner.

2. What is the money going to be used for?
There are quite a few expenses, some obvious, some not.
  • FOOD! An army marches on its stomach!
  • Location, Location, Location. We're in NYC... THE CITY where location matters. So we need to rent someplace where a team of +15 people could fit for long hours as a base and we can shoot those places
  • Some logistical expenses to move all the equipment from location to location
  • Insurance. Yes, we want to be safe and protected.
  • And if we cover all of this… we'll use the rest of the money to apply to more festivals!

3. What do you get out of it?
That is a very good question! You can just be a really cool person that wants to help us out or an Associate Producer to add the film to your IMDb profile. And... if you are really generous, you can be our "Executive Producer" which means your name is one of the top credits!

Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated and will help us create an awesome film.

Perks
- $1 or more: A big thank you from the team!
- $40 or more: Collaborator Credit on the film
- $150 or more: Associate Producer credit
- $500 or more: Executive Producer
