Serena Chalmers Assistance with Medical Expenses

On November 21st our beloved mother and friend, Serena Chalmers, experienced sudden cardiac arrest. This led to her being admitted to the ICU and she is currently on life support.

We hope that Serena will be out of the woods soon and begin her long road to recovery. At the moment, her treatment is focused on keeping her stable and comfortable. Once Serena begins progressing, the focus of her treatment can shift to possible cognitive and physical mobility challenges.

We are crowdfunding for Serena and her family to pay for all the expenses incurred after this incident. The expenses include medical bills not covered by insurance, aftercare, and bills associated with housing to make sure she can maintain her current living situation. Once Serena begins recovery, we anticipate more expenses for possible rehab and care needs.

Serena is a compassionate person who takes care of others. It’s now our turn to take care of her. The impact she has on the people around her is evident by the amount of family and friends who have visited her so she’s never alone. They talk about how sweet, caring, and amazing Serena is to the people around her. We are so lucky to have her in our lives!
