We unexpectedly lost our son, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend Sequoyah, 21, on April 10. You all have been so kind, asking how you can help. Your sympathies and loving memories of Sequoyah are the best comfort of all.

We wish for Sequoyah's family to celebrate his life and memorialize him in the best way possible -- something no mother should ever have to budget for. Here's a way to help make that happen.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. July 20, 2024, in Conference Room A/B at Christmount, 222 Fern Way, Black Mountain, N.C.

Should this campaign exceed its goal, Sequoyah's family pledges to donate the excess to a charity that would best honor his memory.
