The Jog-A-Thon is a fundraising event that takes place during your child’s regular school day. Sequoia students will run (or jog, walk, skip, etc.) laps around our field during a 15 minute time period (10 minutes for TK and Kindergarten). All students will participate as part of their regular physical fitness program, unless there is a medical reason why the student should not participate.
How do we raise money?
Before the day of the Jog-A-Thon, each student obtains pledges and donations in support of his/her Jog-A-Thon efforts. You can sponsor your child per lap or make a one-time donation. The money raised will go back to the classrooms to pay for field trips and various other activities we do throughout the year. ALL THE MONEY BENEFITS THE STUDENTS. Our goal is to have each student raise $40 each so that we can achieve our school goal of $25,000.00!!!
The students who raise over $20 will receive a thank you prize. As you raise more money, the more prizes you will WIN. The list of prizes is as follows.
$ Raised = Prizes!
