Production of Instinctive Migratory Grazing Movie
Rebooting herd instinct to practice Instinctive Migratory Grazing has allowed ranchers to increase their forage base and stocking rates while reducing labor. Ranches currently using these techniques have built grass and forage which has allowed them to increase stocking
rates, and animal performance, nearly eliminating death loss.
I am at an age when I may not be able to travel and teach much longer, my goal is to leave behind a video which
people could learn the concepts and techniques by watching long after I am gone. Rather than being sold, this video will be available free
on streaming formats such as YouTube. NGO's contributing will be given the final movie on a remote hard drive to upload to their own
video channels, as well as present during events. Their logos will be included, along with hot links which viewers will be able to click to visit sponsoring organizations.
This video will be replacing Stockmanship 101 which will no longer be in production after May 30, 2021. Rather than using a small herd
which blends into the brush, as we did with Stockmanship 101, I will be rebooting herd instinct on 1,000 head of calves on green grass,
which will make it much easy to see and understand the concepts, especially with better drones, cameras, and a better sense of describing to the audience why the cattle react the way they do. We will be including a segment of how Instinctive Migratory Grazing allows ranchers to build grasses and sequester carbon in a more flexible manner, which reduces labor while enhancing individual animal performance.
The money raised will allow me to once again hire Malpache Media for cinema and post production post production work.
I am grateful for your support, and the chance for my work to continue helping ranchers, cattle, and the environment for longer than I'm on this spinning rock we call home.
Sincerely,
Bob Kinford
