Septic Tank and Drain Field Repair

I am fundraising to replace the septic drain field at our house. We have been dealing with this situation since December and it has been a long process meeting with multiple people, and companies, having different work done, pipes cleaned, tank pumped, clean outs installed, and have finally had a company determine that our entire drain field needs to be replaced.

The price quoted to us is a little over $12,000 and we are currently unable to afford such a large amount, especially with the money, we have already spent on the inspections, permits, work and repairs.

We have looked into loans and other options and if we can raise money to help offset some of the expenses we can try to get a loan that we can afford payments on.

I have never done a gofundme before and I feel bad asking for money for something like this, but at this point, I am not sure what else to do.
