September Moon (a film dedicated to Uncle John)

Hi friends and family! As most of you know I have been studying at Screen and Film School in Brighton for almost two years now. As a writer and director, I wrote a script for my semester one assignment and got the privilege to make it into a film! I present, September Moon.

Following the passing of my Uncle John in June 2020, I knew I wanted to write something in his honour from the moments I used to spend with him in his office as he talked about books and his life. He was such a special man to all that knew him and it was hard on us during his passing. He was the founder of the John Moore Society (his favourite author) hence the name 'September Moon' being one of John Moore's book titles, also the fact Uncle John's birthday is in September.

With the remaining funds given to us by the film school, we were able to donate them to Alzheimer's Research UK in his name but this is a cause that is still important to this day and families worldwide are still struggling. This is why I wanted to raise additional money in honour of the 1 year anniversary of my Uncle's passing.

A big shout out to Screen and Film School for letting me fulfil my dream writing and directing my first film in honour of my amazing Uncle.

For such a cause that means so much to me and my Auntie Karen, a cause that is the backbone of this film, any donations would be greatly appreciated.
