On September 16th at 3:53am, our lives changed forever. We were hit head-on by a drunk driver, and in that moment we lost our only vehicle. That car was not just transportation—it was how we got to work and, most importantly, how we traveled to see our babies who are currently in the NICU.

The accident left me with two broken bones in my right leg, and my C-section incision reopened on the same side. The recovery ahead will be tough, but right now our biggest struggle is simply getting back and forth to the hospital to be with our little ones.
