Sepsis did not kill me - Bills may

I appreciate you taking the time to care & support.

I almost died from a condition that I had never heard of: Sepsis

I am very fortunate to have survived. Thanks mostly to world-class medical care and treatment at Swedish Hospital (Seattle), as well as a strong mental attitude.

I was admitted to hospital on June 27th and after almost 10-days in ICU was transferred to a Rehabilitation Center for an additional 3+ weeks of treatment which included a 1-hour antibiotic IV treatment every 8 hours for that 3 week period.

The Swedish Hospital Team were saving my life on a daily basis and I am thankful for their skill, care & compassion.

I was released from hospital to rehabilitation and am now on track for a full recovery in the future with continued medical care and treatment.

Weight loss, loss of muscle tone and fatigue were all standard and expected results of the Sepsis condition. With time, these will all be resolved.

The unexpected health crisis may ruin me financially, as the hospital stay alone is invoiced at $70K and climbing. That is before the cost of the 3 weeks in rehabilitation. I am expecting that the total cost will exceed $$100K+. Wow!

I do not want this medical emergency to bankrupt my life, my health or my future & am seeking any help you can offer so that I can continue to recover and continue the community service I love to do in my community.

Thank you for your consideration and support.
